Read from the scripts of v5.7 bugfix 2: every map’s people, item balls, hidden items and shops were walked for what hands over a TM or HM. A hidden spot is a pick-up with nothing to see: the game puts it on an invisible object, so stand next to the framed tile, face it and press A (the Itemfinder does not react to these). A machine is not used up, so one copy teaches as many Pokémon as you like. Champion Island’s shop is reached from Route 105 and opens once you have beaten Champion Cynthia at the Sinnoh League; it sells TM01 to TM90, and the other 38 machines are never sold anywhere.
